Who We are

SRI PADMAVATHI MAHILA HINDU JUNIOR KALASALA is a prestigious institution located in Machilipatnam, exclusively catering to girl students. The college is dedicated to spreading education, particularly to rural girls who were previously deprived of this opportunity.

The institution is managed by The Hindu and High and Branch Schools Society, Machilipatnam.
Key contributors include:

  • Rev. Sri Daita Madhusudhana Satry Garu: Founder, former secretary, and correspondent.

  • Kasinadhuni Poorna Mallikarjunudu: Freedom fighter and co-pillar of the college.

  • Sri Daita Gopala Krishna Sastry Garu: Present secretary and correspondent, with a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai.

Story - Now

How It Started

  • 1976: Founded by Rev. Sri Daita Madhusudhana Satry Garu.

  • The college was started to address the lack of a separate junior inter-college for women in nearby towns.

  • It was registered under the Hindu High and Branch Schools Society, as per the Society Registration Act of 1860.

  • The initiative aimed to provide educational opportunities to girls from surrounding rural areas who had limited access to education.
